World Humanitarian Day takes place annually on 19 August, to honour humanitarian workers and promote awareness of humanitarian efforts globally is a day to recognize and honor humanitarian aid workers who dedicate their lives to helping people affected by crises around the world. It also serves to raise awareness about the importance of humanitarian work and the challenges faced by those who dedicate themselves to providing aid.
