National Anti-Terrorism day is observed annually on 21st May in India to commemorate the assassination of former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi who was killed by a suicide bomber in 1991.The day is dedicated to raise awareness about the devastating impact of terrorism and to honor people who lost their lives to it. It also serves as a reminder to promote peace, harmony and national unity.
